DevOps (Development and Operations) is a process-based method for managing Development and Operations effectively in an integrated fashion.
DevOps was established in 2009 and later streamlined as a framework by DevOps Council. DevOps is a compound of Development and Operations.

DevOps Manager Eligibility Criteria

  • We believe certification reflects the quality of your training experience.
  • To maintain the value and integrity of the certification, all candidates are required to attend training in order to be eligible to answer the exam.
  • Completed an accredited course
  • Basic familiarity with IT and IT frameworks (Agile, Lean, ITSM)
  • The ability to analyze information and communicate clearly areskills required among the top IT jobs for emerging role of DevOps manager.

Training:

This sixteen (16) hour course provides an introduction to DevOps – the cultural and professional movement that stresses communication, collaboration, integration and automation in order to improve the flow of work between software developers and IT operations professionals. Improved workflows will result in an improved ability to design, develop, deploy and operate software and services faster.

Exam Pattern:

  • Number of questions: 60 multiple choice questions
  • Pass mark: 60% (36 out of 60)
  • Open book/notes: no
  • Exam duration: 90 minutes
  • This exam has two sections – Section A and Section B
  • Section A contains 40 questions – conceptual.
  • Section B contains 20 questions based on scenarios.
